Europa Nostra Serbia (ENS) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2007 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, with the aim and mission of raising awareness about cultural and natural heritage. Our vision is to become the “voice of cultural heritage,” which all people, regardless of their background and status, have the right to value, cherish, and use. We are the Country Representation Member of the broader pan-European network for heritage protection, Europa Nostra, which consists of 250 non-governmental organizations from over 50 European countries, united by a common goal of preserving the heritage of the entire continent. We promote the protection and sustainable use of heritage through campaigns, education, and fostering civic activism. We strengthen the heritage sector through training and the exchange of experiences, ideas, knowledge, and projects at the local, regional, and European levels. We participate in research and consultations regarding policies, projects, and strategies in the field of heritage protection and use. We advocate for sustainable social and cultural development based on the idea of cultural heritage as a public policy priority.
