ELLINIKI ETAIRIA (Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage – ELLET) has since 1972 been active in the fight for the preservation of Greece’s natural environment and cultural heritage. ELLET has a number of Special Councils that deal with specific areas of interest and consist of distinguished scientists who contribute their experience and know-how on a voluntary basis.Also, ELLET has had for many years valuable cooperation with Local Committees representing Civil Society all over Greece.
