Ubani—Tbilisi Cityscape Research Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to exploring Tbilisi’s architectural and urban environment. Through research, education, and public engagement, Ubani aims to enrich the understanding and appreciation of Tbilisi’s unique urban landscape. It is crucially important for them to make this knowledge and discourse accessible to a broader, diverse audience: experts, industry professionals, enthusiasts, artists, scientists, and all the curious minds, locally and globally.
In addition to research and publications, Ubani organizes exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and other public events online and offline. There are two physical outposts in Tbilisi: Ubani Garage (Library) and Kinos Sakhli. Internationally renowned architects, artists, and scholars have participated in Ubani projects.
Ubani has recently joined the Heritage Platform of Georgia. In addition to the international partners, Ubani is supported by both commercial and non-commercial partners in Georgia, including TBC Concept, Tbilisi City Hall, and the Embassy of Italy in Georgia. We also collaborate with the State Academy of Tbilisi, the Technical University of Georgia, and several other organisations.
